Forum Wars 2010

Postby GFreeman »

I've got a message from Raymo, the forum wars for 2010 are starting in February the 1st and ending the 5th of March. We might wanna get something going if we would like to participate.. :blackeye: Below is a quote of Raymo's message..
It's January 2010 and it's coming up on February..Forum Wars "Winter Warz 2010" begins Feb 1st and runs thru to Mar 5th. As you know, anyone can play, with any system... Good or bad.We just want to have fun and we have some nice stuff to give out via random drawings in the end.5 Cooler Master Storm Cases10 one year subscriptions to CPU magazine1 Noctua's latest Heatsink and fan design1 Titan's latest Heatsink designs For more info go to http://forumwars.us If you would like to enter, just stop by the forums and sign up for the TRP Team or any forum of your choosing. This will be alot of fun to watch as there are no cooling restrictions and there will be LN, DICE, Cascades, Phase, Water & Air cooling, In the end there will be a video with most of the submitted set ups for all to see. I would like to mention someone dear to my heart passed away Dec 28th 2009 "Charles Huffman" better known as Chuck4456 to the members of The Raptor Pit, ABIT, PC Pitstop, GEIL USA and many other forums across the globe.. He was a great man and needs to be remembered... RIP Chuck See you at the War!!Raymo

I've fiddled around with the forum a little bit and upgraded this thing to phpbb 3.06.. still some fidling I need to be doing. But this place is actually dead.. there's one visitor in hour.. and sadly this is me doing maintenance and updates.. LOL..

Well the 3.0.6 update is succesful, and I've made this style compatible as well with the 3.0.6. update.. it was a bit of a pain in the ass.. Forum looks a bit different, but I think it's cool :) I'd like to give this a go, so how about participating in this forum wars.. with one or two member at least.. and I'll try to get some google advertising going to get more visitors in here.. We need new members..

Hii Silly! At least you're one of the good and faithful :P Cost isn't an issue here at all.. I'm working and I have a good income.. And I'm willing to keep this place going, but we gotta come up with some kind of plan.. Hopefully getting support from ya'all to think of something and try to kick some live back in here..

Basicly I think we need a new direction change.. Any idea's are welcome when it comes to that.. What direction would you like these forums to be going.. Which subjects should we ditch, what should we keep.. new stuff to add perhaps?

Yes, a complete direction change is the only hope. You need to find a niche and run with it. I'll try and catch you on MSN over the next few days and we can see what we can come up with.
